Description:
I provided content conception, and creative direction for the redesign of Pacific Lutheran University’s externally focused Web sites including: the university home page, admission, development and the alumni magazine.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning – provided short-term strategies for improving the university's Web presence through the development of in-house tools such as a content management system, photo archive, and RSS syndication
- Information Architecture – created a consistent method of navigating across the university's community of Web sites, developed a doorway system focused on specific audiences
- Content Management – developed content for high profile Web sites including the home page, and the alumni and parent doorways
- Graphic Design – incorporated the visual design of printed publications into the look and feel of the Web site
- XHTML/JavaScript/CSS – implemented the Web site using various XHTML, JavaScript and CSS techniques
